The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is AMAZING and the best feature in my opinion. We typically stay at higher end hotels or B&B's, but due to a snafoo with Air B&B (whom I will never try to use again!) I had to book at the last moment. The price was VERY affordable and while you do get what you pay for the location is AMAZING, we slept better than the night before at a hotel that cost twice as much.

The room was comfortable, clean & secure, we had a warm welcome from the paperfolding (supposedly for the kids...) Mitch, who was amazingly helpful telling us about everything to see & do in the area. Located right across the street from the Royal Gorge Route Railroad & a few minutes walk from places to eat in Canon City & a short drive from the famous Royal Gorge Bridge & Park it is a convenient overnight stop.

The staff was awesome. The chair and ottoman was the most comfortable resting place for me (a 69 year old man, riding in on a Harley-Davidson) of the three hotels where I stayed on my trip, even though the others were higher rated. This hotel was a great value for the money, and I booked last minute, during a festival week in town.

We didn’t use the breakfast but the employees went above and beyond to give us great service. Very nice people and the swimming was great along with the hot tub. It’s not as nice as some I have stayed in but the employees made up for it. Would recommend this motel.

Breakfast was so so. The Staff person greeting us was very friendly and welcoming. She had wide knowledge of the area and exceeded our expectations in offering suggestions of places to go eat and visit. She was very helpful and anticipated our every need.
